seen/unseen
KMD library, 2019
lenticular print 180cm x 60cm, text

This work took its departure from the language of social media and online chat platfroms to explore the idea of ‘being seen’ as a human being and its psychological and existential affect. When a message is ‘seen’ and not responded to, what bodily and psychological reactions happen in the face of this tiny rejection? How do we ‘see’ and value each other, how do we pay attention?
